Family-owned and Melbourne-born since 1986, bikeNOW has grown from a local bike shop into a cycling community spanning retail, education, experiences and adventures around the world.
It started with a love of bikes.
bikeNOW was founded in 1986 by Warren Cay, but his story in Melbourne cycling began even earlier. After co-founding Bicycle Superstore with his brother, Warren went on to create bikeNOW with a simple idea: a bike shop should be about more than selling bikes.
Nearly four decades later, that philosophy still shapes everything we do.

Every year, the bikeNOW story travels overseas.
Through bikeNOW Europe, we take small groups of riders on carefully designed cycling adventures through some of Europe's most remarkable landscapes. From the vineyards of Burgundy and roads of Provence to Corsica, the Alps and the Dolomites, we ride alongside our clients and share the places we love most.
